Capacity Building 2013

UNI Europa Hair and Beauty together with Coiffure EU organised the workshop within the framework of their joint project Capacity Building entitled “Occupational health and safety in the hairdressing sector – implementing the European Framework agreement.

Date:      25 and 26 April 2013

Time:     25 April 10.00 hrs – 26 April 12.30 hrs.

Venue:   Madrid - Spain

The workshop is organised with the financial support of the European Commission.

The workshop will address the most important challenges faced by the hairdressing sector (i.e. health and safety risks, training) and will give you the opportunities to meet with colleagues from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Slovenia and Croatia (UNI Europa Hair & Beauty and EU Coiffure national affiliates and other relevant employees/employers organisations) to exchange information, share experiences and discuss strategy how to reinforce and promote the social dialogue in the sector at national and at European level.

More information on the project Capacity Building
The European Commission adopted the project ‘Capacity Building’. The main goals of this project are to promote the results of the activities of the Social Dialogue as regards the implementation of the agreement Health and Safety and the European Hairdressing Certificate. Another important goal is to increase the representativeness of Coiffure EU and Uni Hair & Beauty by involving new members.
