Social Dialogue 2025

Between 16 and 18 June, the EU social partners in Personal Services – UNI Europa and Coiffure EU – came together in Brussels, Belgium, for three days.
On the first day, 'Towards a Sustainable Hairdressing Sector', employers, trade unionists and researchers came together to discuss and deliberate on how social partners can address sustainability issues in the hairdressing sector.

Panel discussions included 'What does just transition mean for SMEs and workers in the hairdressing sector?', 'Industrial policy, the UN SDGs and the hairdressing sector' and 'Labour shortages, labour turnover and training in the hairdressing sector'.
